Part of my 'Paint a Mate' series.
I started to paint this series at the beginning of the first Covid lockdown. It became my way to connect with friends and loved ones I couldn't see or meet.
Some are painted 'of me' (as below) - sometimes with a caption or words and sometimes without - and some were painted of the person I was sending to and posted with a message scrawled on the back.
This little 'Memoji' has become one of my favourite things to paint and also features in my 'I am' series.
